Markus Spiess

Markus brings over three decades of extensive experience across basic, engineering, and construction industries. His diverse background encompasses substantial B2B expertise gained from leadership roles within globally operating German, Norwegian, and US corporations. Furthermore, he also worked in entrepreneurial situations, providing guidance as a senior advisor to emerging companies and managing family businesses as a CEO. Throughout his career, Markus has spearheaded the conception and execution of market and business strategies, and orchestrated complex M&A transactions. Markus heads our Basic Industries and Construction & Real Estate teams. He is also an active member in the S&P Engineering & Manufacturing practice. He is competent in German, English, Spanish, and French, and is part of our team in Essen.
